Just now, I’m reconsidering the ways I keep in touch with people. Twitter used to be the best way of contacting me, but that’s no longer part of my daily routine. Instead, if you’re not in a hurry, I’d love to get a letter or a postcard from you. Here’s the address to write to:
Mail from elsewhere in Europe generally takes a week or so to get here. If you need to get hold of me more urgently than that, or if you just don’t have any stamps lying around, then you can send email to firstname.lastname@example.org. (One request: please don’t add this address to a mass mailing list about your project or organisation.)
If you’d like me to speak at your event, I’ll be very happy to hear from you. Do bear in mind that this is part of how I make a living, so unless everyone else involved is working unpaid, I don’t expect to be doing so. What kind of fee I ask for will depend on the nature of the event.
