Four stories about the future, the present & the past, written during the Omställningsberättelser project (2020-23).
Omställningsberättelser (Transition Stories) has been a three-year collaboration between Region Västmanland and Lund University with funding from Kulturrådet. Between 2020-23, I was one of seven writers and artists with connections to Västmanland brought together to form the artistic group for this project.
The recordings published here are excerpts from texts written during this process. This online production has been made to accompany the exhibition, Säg att du är en skog (Say You Are a Forest) at the Västmanland County Museum, Autumn 2023.
‘Gathering the Embers’ is an extract from At Work in the Ruins (2023). An earlier version of ‘Something Always Remains’ was written for Kartan Över Oss (2020).
